But The Tales end with the story of the perfect marriage and how, if we are generous to one another, we can find the perfect society.
A selection of stories from Chaucer's masterpiece depicting life in fourteenth century England is presented here in modern English. There is a wide range of activities and special informative sections on Chaucer and his times. The accompanying cassette contains the complete story and the extra listening activities.
