Envoyé, pour des raisons encore obscures, dans le passé du monde parallèle d'Amulia, Kinji Ninomiya a perdu la mémoire et est devenu au passage une personne charitable. Après avoir été rejoint par Shia, il rencontre successivement une binoclarde nommée Raizaher et une demoiselle de bonne famille légèrement perverse sur les bords. De son côté, Wanibé vit désormais dans un village isolé de monstres qui l'ont pris en charge à son arrivée dans le passé. Se sentant bien dans son nouvel environnement, il a décidé de devenir leur défenseur. Entre des aventuriers corrompus manoeuvrant en secret et Rim que l'on découvre pétrifiée, la situation devient brûlante. Il est aussi un homme se déplaçant dans le temps. Après avoir retrouvé certains de ses anciens partenaires Kinji doit ensuite faire preuve d'un ingénieux stratagème pour sauver Rim qu'il découvre pétrifiée. Ses souvenirs retrouvés. et en passe de dominer cette version du passé du monde d'Amulia, il ne lui reste maintenant plus qu'à retrouver Ranga. Mais il semblerait pour des raisons qui lui échappent, que ce garçon ait débuté une activité d'idole ambulante. Ranga arrivera-t-il à devenir la plus grande étoile de ce monde ? !

Kinji a 24 ans. Suite à des opérations immobilières, il a atteint son objectif ultime : toucher de l'argent en ne faisant absolument rien ! Mais cette douce existence prend fin lorsqu'il est tout d'un coup transporté dans un autre monde du nom d'AMOURIA ! Ce dernier est peuplé de créatures semi-humaines. Après avoir contracté de terribles dette, Kinji se retrouve à travailler 16 heures par jour dans une mine de pierres magiques. Mal payé et exténué, sa situation est misérable. Mais un jour, il découvre un passage secret vers les dangereuses profondeurs de la mine où se trouvent des pierres de grande valeur. Il convaint son collègue mi-homme, mi-lézard Wanibe d'y descendre avec lui. Une fois en bas, il rencontre un monstre géant qui offre de les protéger contre de la nourriture. Ce dernier se transforme alors en une jeune fille très mignonne prénommée Rimu. Il ne faudra pas oublier de l'alimenter car elle mangera le premier venu si elle a faim ! Kinji réussira-t-il à trouver des pierres magiques de valeur pour quitter l'enfer de cette mine ? Et comment pourra-t-il rentrer chez lui ?

Afin de se venger de l'énigmatique homme tout de blanc vêtu à l'origine de tous ses maux. Kinji commence déjà à avancer les pions du plan diabolique qu'il ourdit. Toutefois, sans prévenir, le beau et aimable Ninomiya réapparaît, et celui-ci forme alors un trio en compagnie de deux beautés. C'est le début de l'opération "Kinji le beau gosse" !

The book addresses the question of whether, in an age of internationalisation and globalisation, cultural differences are still relevant to German-Irish corporate relationships ? The first three chapters establish the theoretical framework for the analysis by exploring the notion of culture, profiling the business cultures of both countries, and examining existing approaches to the study of parent company-foreign subsidiary relationships. In the following three chapters, using interviews carried out with two sample groups (fifteen German parent companies and fourteen of their Irish operations ; seven Irish parent companies and nine of their German operations), the parent companies in both groups are examined to see whether they demonstrate characteristics which are in keeping with their national business cultures. Their foreign operations are then analysed as is the parent company-foreign subsidiary relationship to determine whether any parent company influences are visible. The general approaches adopted by the two groups of parent companies to their foreign operations are compared and contrasted. Finally differences in national attitudes and values are identified and their impact assessed.

Hilma af Klint. The Five Notebook 1
In 1896, Hilma af Klint and four other like-minded women artists left the Edelweiss Society and founded the "Friday Group", also known as "The Five". They met every Friday for spiritual meetings, including prayers, studies of the New Testament, meditation and séances. The medium exercised automatic writing and mediumistic drawing. Eventually they established contact with spiritual beings whom they called "The High Ones". In 1896, the five women began taking meticulous notes of the mediumistic messages conveyed by the spirits. In time, Hilma af Klint felt she had been selected for more important messages. After ten years of esoteric training with "The Five", aged 43, Hilma af Klint accepted a major assignment, the execution of The Paintings for the Temple. This commission, which engaged the artist from 1906 to 1915, changed the course of her life. In 1908, Rudolf Steiner, leader of the German Theosophical Society, held several lectures in Stockholm. He also visited af Klint's studio and saw some of the early Paintings for the Temple. In 1913, Steiner founded the Anthroposophical Society, which af Klint joined in 1920 and remained a member for the rest of her life.

The Wider Goldsmiths' Trade in Elizabethan and Stuart London
The Wider Goldsmiths' Trade in Elizabethan and Stuart London is the first book to study all aspects of the Goldsmiths' trade. It challenges the assumption that the manufacture of silver plate and gold jewellery was the company's only activity during the seventeenth century. It considers allied trades such as refining, wiredrawing, and the making of small-swords and watches, as well as the development of the modern banking system. On Elizabeth I's accession, England was essentially a 'third world economy', with exports mainly of wool, unfinished woolen cloth and some minerals, whilst imports consisted of a great range of goods including luxuries such as silks, fine linens, and even scissors. By the end of the seventeenth century, the situation was transformed : a burgeoning maritime trade with many parts of the world enabled the import of raw materials as well as some luxury goods and a wide range of exports which included certain goods produced in London with an international reputation for quality, such as beaver hats and mathematical instruments. Throughout the period, religious refugees and economic migrants brought their skills and knowledge to England. At the Restoration, Royalists returning to London from the Continent introduced French and Low Country fashions in dress, manners, cuisine and dining practice. Refining, wiredrawing, and the making of plate, smallwares and jewellery were at the heart of the trade and of concern to the Goldsmiths' Company that had responsibility for ensuring that the correct alloys were used for silver and gold wares. This was not always the case for clocks, watches and swords. Nevertheless, they are included in this study as several members of the Company were instrumental in the development of clock and watch making in the city. Towards the end of the seventeenth century, the great increase in the sale of watches with gold and silver cases forced the Company to become involved in the control of this trade. Similarly, after the Civil Wars, the wearing of the small-sword by all those with aspirations to gentility gave rise to a demarcation dispute between the Goldsmiths' and Cutlers' Companies. Further, during the Commonwealth, goldsmith-bankers developed the clearing system which led to modern retail banking. This book considers the wider Goldsmiths' trade against dynamic changes : the organization and control of its branches and the design, manufacture and sale of its wares. The twelve chapters cover a range of topics - from history and context, to the various branches of the trade.

Luxembourg companies have a legal personality that is separate from that of their shareholder(s). Consequently, they may enter into agreements with their shareholders as they do with third parties. However, when the terms and conditions of those agreements do not adhere to the arm's length standard, tax adjustments may be required in accordance with the concepts of hidden dividend distribution and hidden capital contribution. Both concepts aim at a separation of the sphere of the company (which is itself subject to corporate income tax on its worldwide income) from that of its shareholders. As such, the concepts of hidden dividend distribution and hidden capital contribution are cornerstones of Luxembourg's transfer pricing rules. In addition, in the context of associated enterprises (in a group of companies), tax adjustments might be required under Article 56 of the Luxembourg Income Tax Law ("LITL"). Hence, a clear distinction must be made between agreements that adhere to the arm's length principle and agreements that, motivated by the shareholding relationship, shift advantages from the company to the shareholder or vice versa. Therefore, each contractual relationship between a company and its shareholder(s) must be considered. Luxembourg tax law does not provide for exhaustive definitions of hidden dividend distributions and hidden capital contributions. Both concepts have their origins in case law of the German Reich Tax Court (Reichsfinanzhof) and have been carefully extended and refined through the years by the German Federal Tax Court (Bundesfinanzhof). Since the publication of the first edition of this book back in 2011, the Luxembourg Courts had to decide in numerous cases involving both concepts. This book offers a one-of-a-kind, practical insight into the tax treatment of hidden dividend distributions, hidden capital contributions and triangular cases. Les informations classifiées sont des documents dont l'accès est restreint par la loi, à une catégorie particulière de personnes, dans le but de préserver le secret de ces informations. Une habilitation d'accès au secret, appelée clearance est attribuée, afin d'autoriser une personne à manipuler des documents classés ou une certaine catégorie d'informations, nécessitant souvent une vérification des antécédents professionnels, avant qu'elle ne soit octroyée. Ce genre de système hiérarchique du secret est utilisé par presque tous les gouvernements, ainsi que par de nombreuses sociétés privées, travaillant pour la Défense. Le but de la classification et le secret sont de protéger les informations, pour éviter qu'elles ne soient utilisées à de mauvaises fins (ou de mettre en danger) les objectifs de sécurité nationale. Aux Etats-Unis, une information ne peut théoriquement pas être classée par pure commodité, simplement parce qu'elle serait embarrassante, ou par le caprice d'un supérieur hiérarchique quelconque. L'information ne peut être classée que par rapport aux risques réels qu'elle pourrait causer, sur les objectifs de la sécurité nationale de l'Etat. La plupart des autorisations d'accès et la classification des informations, concernant le gouvernement des Etats-Unis, sont organisées en fonction de systèmes de classifications établis par le directeur de la CIA, et utilisés en vertu du décret 13292 (modifiant l'Executive Order 12958) promulgué par le président George W. Bush en 2003. Ce décret fixe les systèmes de classifications des informations traitées par le gouvernement et ses différents fonctionnaires et employés, par les entrepreneurs et les entreprises industrielles, lorsqu'elles travaillent pour la Défense, concernant l'utilisation de matériels ou d'informations classifiées. Walter Gratzer's themes in the stories he relates in The Undergrowth of Science are collective delusion and human folly. Science is generally seen as a process bound by rigorous rules, which its practitioners must not transgress. Deliberate fraud occasionally intrudes, but it is soon detected, the perpetrators cast out and the course of discovery barely disturbed. Far more interesting are the outbreaks of self-delusion that from time to time afflict upright and competent researchers, and then spread like an epidemic or mass-hysteria through a sober and respectable scientific community. When this happens the rules by which scientists normally govern their working lives are suddenly suspended. Sometimes these episodes are provoked by personal vanity, an unwillingness to acknowledge error or even contemplate the possibility that a hard-won success is a will o' the wisp; at other times they stem from loyalty to a respected and trusted guru, or even from patriotic pride; and, worst of ail, they may be a consequence of a political ideology which imposes its own interpretation on scientists' observations of the natural world. Unreason and credulity supervene, illusory phenomena are described and measured, and theories are developed to explain them - until suddenly, often for no single reason, the bubble bursts, leaving behind it a residue of acrimony, recrimination, embarrassment and ruined reputations.
